Cynthia Wright’s Guide to Lonely Friday Nights
In 2020, I decided to write a contemporary YA novel titled Cynthia Wright’s Guide to Lonely Friday Nights. The story centers around a 16-year-old Vietnamese adoptee named Cynthia Wright. Throughout the book, Cynthia is navigating the ups and downs of high school (think friendship rifts and crushes) while trying to find out more about her Vietnamese heritage. In 2021, I completed my manuscript.
